Blockchain Infrastructure
Append-only SHA-256 chains anchored to Sepolia (Ethereum testnet). Any modification breaks the cryptographic proof — detectable by anyone with the public explorer.
Every maintenance record is SHA-256 hashed into a per-aircraft append-only chain. Server Ed25519 signature applied automatically; mechanic co-signature is opt-in. Modify any record and the chain breaks.
Daily batches build a Merkle tree from unsealed records. Every record gets its own inclusion proof. One 32-byte root represents thousands of entries.
The Merkle root is anchored to Sepolia (Ethereum testnet) as permanent calldata. Records are pinned to IPFS for disaster recovery. Verifiable by anyone with a block explorer.
