This amendment supersedes an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Limited (BHTCL) Model 407 helicopters that requires visually inspecting the brackets that attach the horizontal stabilizer slat (slat) to the stabilizer for a crack.
