Summary
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AW189 helicopters. This AD was prompted by the determination that certain part-numbered fairings were never introduced into the main rotor (MR) tip lights kit design definition and were not certified for icing conditions.
