Summary
We are superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2016-16-01, which applied to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200 Freighter, -200, and -300 series airplanes. AD 2016-16-01 required an inspection of affected structural parts in the cargo and cabin compartments to determine if proper heat treatment has been done, and replacement or repair if necessary.
