Airworthiness Directives; Rolls-Royce plc Turbofan Engines
Summary
We are superseding airworthiness directive (AD) 2013-05-18 for certain Rolls-Royce plc (RR) RB211 Trent 500 series turbofan engines. AD 2013-05-18 required initial and repetitive inspections of the low- pressure (LP) fuel tubes, fuel tube clips, and fuel/oil heat exchanger (FOHE) mounts for evidence of damage, wear, and fuel leakage.
