Summary
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Pratt & Whitney models PW2037, PW2037(M), and PW2040 turbofan engines. This AD requires 12th stage disks of certain high-pressure compressor (HPC) drum rotor disk assemblies, to be inspected for cracks by Pratt & Whitney using a special eddy current inspection procedure.
